Little flower dress

I finished this little flower pinafore dress yesterday.

It's adapted from one in the Emma Hardy Making Clothes for Children book that I mentioned earlier in the week.
I used my own pattern for the dress and then roughly followed the flower design.
I'm not very happy with that huge flower on the right so I think that may have to come off in favour of a smaller flower like the other two. What do you think?

Thanks for the advice yesterday. I have decided to go for the top without the bear.

I like the big flower but can understand that it may not be very practical if it gets all creased in the wash and needs rearranging! A lovely dress though and very versatile too for winter!

No. No. No. Please don't take the big flower off - it's gorgeous, just makes the dress for me and in fact this is one of the loveliest things you've made! x

Oooh, lovely! I am obsessed with making pinafores too at the moment. The flower looks good, but I agree maybe not very practical in terms of wearing and washing.

I'm liking the big flower... but perhaps a bigger button in the centre of a contrasting colour.

Great dress!
